The Slab with Isime
Once upon a time, I gathered my amazing colleagues at YNaija to provide lighthearted (sometimes, heated) commentaries on topics trending in the news. Essentially, it was an extension of the debates and arguments we usually have in the newsroom following any major news item. I called it The Slab… kind of like where you put meat (or whatever your mind conjures) upon to dissect.
We described it as a Weekly gabfest offering a newsroom perspective on trending issues in the past week. Cute isn’t it?
Though we had to put a pause on it because life kind of took over and left me with little or no time to deliver the quality of podcast I would love to deliver on a weekly basis. But no worries, it’s very possible that the podcast gets resurrected in the near future.
I am forever grateful to Tolu Omoyeni, Roqeebah Olaoniye, Chuks Okpani, Ezinne Ajoku, Emeka Nwankwo, and others who featured on The Slab with Isime when it was slabbin’.
